Cranbrook Symphony Orchestra, registered charity no: 1053542, receives no official funding or grants and is reliant upon subscriptions from the members of our orchestra, concert ticket sales and donations from generous sponsors.
Members' subscriptions cover our rehearsal fees and go towards the hire of music, concert venue costs and fees for professional soloists and additional musicians as required for some of the pieces we perform. They also allow us to employ a first-class conductor.
We enjoy performing and aim to keep classical music accessible to everyone and to help achieve this we keep ticket prices for our concerts competitively priced whilst offering concessions for students and children. We aim to have concerts in June/July and November/December each year with at least one of the concerts helping to raise awareness and funds for a chosen charity with a percentage of the profits from the concert being donated to their cause. To continue performing we need to explore other revenue streams and would very much appreciate the sponsorship of any individual or company willing to provide us with financial support, or even just to contribute towards a particular expense.
Sponsors can remain anonymous or receive acknowledgment on our website, concert programme or publicity material.
